Safe Community Coalition Tips for Success
Getting your Safe Community off the ground can be challenging.
Here are some tips from successful Safe Community Coalitions:
Invite businesses, emergency services, health and health-care services, municipal community services to join your Safe Community Coalition.
A key to success is recruiting a dedicated Coordinator to develop a Safe Community business plan and evaluating activities.
Plan to provide the Coordinator with access to essential office technology such as fax and Internet to expedite the sharing of information.
The SCF Regional Coordinators are your personal link to the Foundation. They are in the field to help guide you through the process of becoming a Safe Community.
