The St. Clair River trail is an important link of the Lambton Regional Trail System, which is designed to connect communities and conservation areas along with cultural and historical points of interest.
Ongoing development of recreational trails on both sides of the Canada-United States border provide an opportunity for an international bike way.

June 5, 2010 - Family Trail Day Celebrations
Starting at 10:30 a.m. from Riverview School
walking/running/cycling to Sombra Museum.


July 17th, 2010
The St. Clair River Run is a scenic 10K Run & 5K Walk/Run on July 17th, 2010 along the St. Clair River Trail.
This run will follow the St. Clair River through Sombra, Ontario, Canada and Port Lambton, Ontario, Canada. This event is in support of the St. Clair River Trail and features a course with a paved trail, scenic river views and breezes.
