LAMBTON PRESBYTERY SPECIAL NOTICE PAGE This page will post special announcements, appeals, requests, etc as needed   Food Bank Challenge All the United Churches of Lambton Presbytery were challenged by our chair Alison Hayes  to donate an average of 500 items from each Pastoral Charge (12,500 for all Lambton Presbytery) to area foodbanks from Thanksgiving and Christmas Churches picked up the challenge and collected 14,427 items for the various food banks in the area by the 2nd week of December  The  youth from the Fast for Hunger will cut her hair to about the length of a brush cut.   The hair will go to Locks of Love to be used for wigs,  helping 2 charities with one donation.    "Locks for Love" uses donated hair to make hairpieces for disadvantaged kids who are suffering from long term medical hair loss.  They are a not for profit organization who donate the hairpieces to children in Canada and the U.S.    There website is: http://locksoflove.org/mission.html
