School Routines
 
  • For student safety, bicycles are to be walked on the playground.
  • Students are to wear bicycle helmets if they ride their bikes to school.
  • No rollerblades or skateboards to be used on the playground or in the school.
  • At bell time, students line up at designated entrance. Permissson is given to the students to enter the school quietly and proceed to their classroom.
  • If it is raining prior to the start of school, students may enter the school at their designated doorway and wait in the hall until they are invited to their classroom by the teacher or duty teacher.
  • At recess, students enter through the intermediate door for washroom and fountain use with permission from the yard duty teacher.
  • Sports equipment is provided for each classroom's use.  Students are allowed to bring baseball gloves to school but other equipment should be left at home.
  • Walkmans or other valuable belongings shuld not be brought to school.
  • No electronic devices are permitted at school: e.g. cell phones, walkmans etc.
  • Students should have running shoes, non-scuff sholes, at school for physical education.
  • Students do not leave the school grounds during school hours without permission.
  • Students are not to be in any areas of the school unsupervised.
  • Students are to go home after they are dismissed for the day.
  • Students do not reenter the school building after hours without permission.
  • Special Lunch Days (e.g. pizza are noted on monthly calendar sent home with the school's newsletter).
